Can I change speed without changing pitch?
Yes. Keep original pitch is enabled by default and uses a local time-stretching filter.
What happens when I disable keep pitch?
Slower playback lowers the pitch and faster playback raises it. This option uses sample resampling.
Does changing speed affect duration?
Yes. At 2x the output is approximately half as long; at 0.5x it is approximately twice as long.
Which browsers and files are supported?
Use a recent Chrome, Edge, Firefox or Safari. Common MP3 and WAV files work best; other formats depend on browser and codec support. Source audio is limited to 50 MB in total, video to 150 MB / 6 minutes, and decoded audio to 32 million samples. Large files may exceed available device memory. The first MP3 export or video extraction downloads an approximately 32 MB processing engine.
